Queen of Swords

The Queen of Swords sits on a stone throne decorated with a cherub, representing the Queen’s softer side, and butterflies representing transformation. DIWALI (del 5 al 10 de Noviembre)
Finalmente, tras todo un año de espera, llega Diwali, la gran festividad hindú, una vez más a nuestras vidas. Diwali significa “hilera de luces”. Esta es la festividad de la luz, y no es de extrañar que sea uno de los festivales más populares del mundo. Diwali no es un festival únicamente para los hindúes, si bien es definitivamente hindú. Diwali es para todo el mundo. Todos amamos la luz, todos buscamos la luz. El significado último de Diwali es hallar la Luz de luces en nuestros corazones. Por eso no hay barreras de clase, culto o nacionalidad para celebrar Diwali.

Desde el hinduismo, se considera que Diwali es el aniversario del momento en el que el Señor Rama regresó a Ayodhya, Su ciudad, tras 14 años de exilio. Rama, Sita, Lakshmana y Sus asociados regresaban en un carro volador o Vimana, pero la noche era oscura y no podían ver el camino. Por ello, los ciudadanos de Ayodhya encendieron una larga hilera de luces a lo largo del camino, y así Rama pudo regresar. Del mismo modo, en Diwali, encendemos la llama de la devoción en nuestro corazón para que el Señor Supremo pueda habitar en él.
